Willem Buiter warns of massive dollar collapse

Americans must prepare themselves for a massive collapse in the dollar as investors around the world dump their US assets, a former Bank of England policymaker has warned.

The long-held assumption that US assets – particularly government bonds – are a safe haven will soon be overturned as investors lose their patience with the world’s biggest economy, according to Willem Buiter.

Professor Buiter, a former Monetary Policy Committee member who is now at the London School of Economics, said this increasing disenchantment would result in an exodus of foreign cash from the US.

The warning comes despite the dollar having strengthened significantly against other major currencies, including sterling and the euro, after hitting historic lows last year. It will reignite fears about the currency’s prospects, as well as sparking fears about the sustainability of President-Elect Barack Obama’s mooted plans for a Keynesian-style increase in public spending to pull the US out of recession.

Writing on his blog , Prof Buiter said: “There will, before long (my best guess is between two and five years from now) be a global dumping of US dollar assets, including US government assets. Old habits die hard. The US dollar and US Treasury bills and bonds are still viewed as a safe haven by many. But learning takes place.”

He said that the dollar had been kept elevated in recent years by what some called “dark matter” or “American alpha” – an assumption that the US could earn more on its overseas investments than foreign investors could make on their American assets. However, this notion had been gradually dismantled in recent years, before being dealt a fatal blow by the current financial crisis, he said.

“The past eight years of imperial overstretch, hubris and domestic and international abuse of power on the part of the Bush administration has left the US materially weakened financially, economically, politically and morally,” he said. “Even the most hard-nosed, Guantanamo Bay-indifferent potential foreign investor in the US must recognise that its financial system has collapsed.”

He said investors would, rightly, suspect that the US would have to generate major inflation to whittle away its debt and this dollar collapse means that the US has less leeway for major spending plans than politicians realise.

Pentagon Wants Chat Bots to Replace Parents

The U.S. Department of Defense is looking to develop virtual parents to comfort children when moms and dads on active duty aren’t available to talk.

In a solicitation for proposals posted on the department’s Small Business Innovation Research Web site, the military says it’s seeking to “develop a highly interactive PC- or Web-based application to allow family members to verbally interact with ‘virtual’ renditions of deployed Service Members.”

“The child should be able to have a simulated conversation with a parent about generic, everyday topics,” the solicitation says. “For instance, a child may get a response from saying, ‘I love you,’ or ‘I miss you,’ or ‘Good night mommy/daddy.’ This is a technologically challenging application because it relies on the ability to have convincing voice-recognition, artificial intelligence, and the ability to easily and inexpensively develop a customized application tailored to a specific parent.”

While Skype or similar technologies might seem like a more cost-effective and immediately available solution, Defense rejects that possibility, noting in a Q&A posted below the solicitation that the purpose of the project is to help children cope with the absence of a parent when Internet and phone communication are not an option.

Value of 2008 Bailouts Exceeds Combined Costs of All Major U.S. Wars

(CNSNews.com) – The total value of the bailouts undertaken by the federal government in 2008 now exceeds the combined cost of every major war the United States has ever engaged in, according to a comparison of war costs calculated by the Congressional Research Service (CRS) and the value of the bailouts as calculated by Bloomberg News or Bianco Research.

According to CRS, all major U.S. wars (including such events as the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, but not the invasion of Panama or the Kosovo War), cost a total of $7.2 trillion in inflation-adjusted 2008 dollars.

According to Bloomberg, the federal government has made commitments worth a total of $8.5 trillion in the bailouts of 2008. That includes actual expenditures as well as loan and asset guarantees.

Bianco Research puts the total value of the bailouts at $8.7 trillion.

The $296 billion spent on World War II, America’s most expensive war, would be $4.1 trillion adjusted to today’s dollars, according to the CRS report from June.

The adjusted cost of the Civil War would be $60.4 billion for both the Union and the Confederacy combined. The inflation-adjusted cost of the Vietnam War would be $686 billion. The cost of the current Iraq war up to last June was $648 billion, while the adjusted cost for Afghanistan to that point was $171 billion.

The total cost of the American Revolution was a relatively inexpensive $1.8 billion.

“World War II was financed by savings, the American people’s savings, when Americans bought war bonds,” said Olivier Garret, CEO of Casey Research, who analyzed the value of the bailout compared to the major U.S. wars and other major historical government expenses. “Today, families are in debt and government is in debt.”

A Bianco Research report cited in Politico puts the number for the total value of bailouts at $8.7 trillion and also affirms the value to be higher than the cost of all American wars and historic initiatives. A spokesman with Bianco Research could not be reached for comment as this story went to press.

The bailouts, led by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, were taken as emergency actions to keep U.S. companies from going under and to prevent a total financial markets meltdown in the United States. Similar bailouts were issued in other countries to address the global financial crisis.

The Bush administration is mulling whether to use some of the $700 billion in TARP funds approved by Congress to bailout the financial industry to bailout U.S. automakers.

The bailouts could put U.S. taxpayers in a tough spot in the future, said Pete Sepp, spokesman for the National Taxpayers Union.

“I’m assuming the figures do not include the Cold War defense expenditures, which would probably amount to several trillion on their own,” Sepp told CNSNews.com. “In any case, it’s a stark illustration of just how quickly the federal government has gotten into a huge financial hole and dragged taxpayers into it in the process.”

“We can only hope and pray that many of these liabilities and guarantees and commitments the government has made will not have to be made good on,” Sepp said. “If we were to be responsible for paying out all of these obligations, even in the period of one or two years, it would be financially disastrous to the government’s credit rating and our own as taxpayers.”

Garret pointed to the cost that will be paid by Americans in the future. “Future generations of Americans are going to continue to finance the enormous amount of debt,” he said.

The increasingly violent riots in Greece could be the curtain raiser for a military coup d’etat and the installation of a new government more friendly to U.S. hegemony as a countermeasure to increasing Russian influence over the Balkan state.

It wouldn’t be the first time the CIA has assisted in such a venture – they aided the 1967 installation of a U.S. friendly military junta known as the Regime of the Colonels ostensibly to prevent Greece from falling under Soviet control, a fascist cabal which was later overthrown in 1973.

The coup was achieved with the active support of such groups as the LOK Special Forces, which was part of Operation Gladio, NATO-controlled black-ops forces that carried out false flag attacks across Europe to eliminate left-wing political organizations.

Gladio tactics are again being employed with the current riots following the revelation that police masquerading as anarchists were committing acts of wanton violence to enflame tensions and provide a pretext for a brutal crackdown on legitimate demonstrators protesting against police brutality and the mishandling of the economic crisis.

The agenda is again likely to be related to fears over increasing Russian influence in the region.

In March 2007, Vladimir Putin struck a deal with Greece and Bulgaria to build a 280-kilometer Russian oil pipeline from Bulgaria’s Black Sea port of Burgas to Alexandroupolis, in northern Greece. Construction is scheduled to begin in June.

As the Angirfan blog highlights, “The pipeline will be an alternative route for Russian oil bypassing the Bosporus and the Dardanelles.”

The Greek military has placed its forces at level 2 alert status and begun to position them to be used against civilians with an order that lethal force be authorized should soldiers feel “threatened”. Special Operations Units from Germany and Italy are also being readied to act as an occupying army upon declaration of full scale martial law.

Details of the plans came to light after hundreds of Greek soldiers expressed their vociferous opposition to being used as “a force of terror and repression”.

Is the CIA again preparing to assist a military junta in a coup d’etat as a means of ousting a government friendly to Russian geopolitical objectives? The reaction of the lower ranks of the Greek military after they discovered they were being prepared to be used as a standing army against their own people at least offers hope that any such move will be resisted.

I made an observation.

The other day my friend and I had a discussion on how we found out about infowars dot com. He said he saw on his $ paper money “INFOWARS.COM” written on both sides. The letters were written on the edges (the empty spaces) as to not deface the paper money, yet prominent enough to get the person to check it out. Incidentally I found out about infowars on £ paper money in the exact same way!

As I said, it’s just an observation and in no way am I saying people should be doing this.

Its not shocking to us living along the US-Mexican border in southern Arizona. Every day, another unusual death or disappearance blamed on Mexican cartels is suspected by locals to be connected to the meth trade under government control & protection. We live n the ‘wrong’ side of the border checkpoint, where there is no legitimate reason to be 30 miles north of Mexico other than to let them in to chase around for show. It is NOT a DMZ, its a war zone, much like Greece, Gaza, Iraq, etc.

the Regime of the Colonels is history. Greece was not in the EU then. Remember Spain at the same period was under dictatorship by Franco. These country’s have made progress since.

Milky Way 50 Percent Larger, Astronomers Discover

Artist’s conceptions of the Milky Way might give you the impression that astronomers have a precise notion of what our galaxy looks like, but you’d be wrong. In fact, new observations suggest that our home galaxy has been vastly underestimated.

Those spiraling arms? Some scientists think it only has two, not four. Its size? For years, we thought that the Milky Way was substantially smaller than our closest galactic neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy.

Now, new measurements of how quickly our galaxy is rotating have led a team of Harvard astrophysicists to conclude that our galaxy is 50 percent more massive than previously thought, and likely does have four arms.

“We should certainly think of the Milky Way no longer as the little sister of the local group,” said Mark Reid of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. “We should think of the Milky Way and Andromeda as more like fraternal twins.”

The question of what exactly our galaxy looks like is more difficult to solve than you might think. We’re inside the galaxy, so we can’t get direct perspective on our home. The best method is to measure how quickly the galaxy is rotating and back out to the amount of mass that would have to exist in the structure to generate that velocity.

Using the Very Large Baseline Array of radio telescopes, Reid’s team found that the Milky Way is rotating at about 600,000 miles an hour, 100,000 miles per hour faster than previous estimates. When you do the math, that translates into the 50 percent mass increase his team reported in a press conference at the American Astronomical Society meeting Monday. One major consequence of a heavier Milky Way is that we’re likely to collide with the Andromeda Galaxy sooner, Reid said.

The new measurements also seem to indicate that the galaxy must have the four arms that astronomers had long assumed before Spitzer Space Telescope observations last year called that into question.

“By measuring distances to regions of very massive star formation, we can start to trace out the spiral arms of the Milky Way and begin to constrain how tightly wound the arms are and trace out how many of them there are,” Reid said.

With the new array of radio telescopes, the team has been able to make more precise measurements than ever before.

“We’re using trigonometric parallax. It’s essentially what surveyors do here on Earth,” he said. “If you know the length of one leg of the triangle and the angles between the legs, you can calculate all the lengths.”

In this case, they make an observation of the same region at two different times of the year, creating a triangle out of the earth’s two positions and the star itself.

As for the discrepancy with the Spitzer’s findings about the number of arms our galaxy has, Reid explained that he thought the old stars measured by the other group of astronomers only showed up in two of the arms, while his young stars showed up everywhere. Why only two of the galaxy’s four arms would contain older stars would take further research into the galaxy’s makeup.

“The central question here is: What does the Milky Way really look like?” Reid said.

Every time I see the aged Henry Kissinger, I am reminded of the worst sort of pornography. In fact, I am reminded of a snuff film. Henry Kissinger is likely one of the most notorious killers on the planet, a monster that makes Charles Manson look like a silly school boy. Manson did not actually kill anybody. He had his brainwashed zombies engage in the dirty work. Kissinger didn’t kill anybody either. He had the Pentagon, the CIA, and various cutthroat clients do his dirty work, that is to say the dirty work of the global elite. Charlie had a few deranged girls on LSD do his bidding. Henry enlisted whole armies to commit the crimes he engineered for his bosses.




	Renowned war criminal and global elite minion Henry Kissinger discusses Gaza and publicly calls for Obama to create a New World Order out of current state of global affairs.

“Henry Kissinger’s role in the Cambodian genocide, Chile, and East Timor, makes him a first class war criminal, arguably at least in the class of Hitler’s Foreign Minister Joachim Von Ribbentrop, hanged in 1946,” notes Edward S. Herman. “But Kissinger has the impunity flowing naturally to the leaders and agents of the victorious and dominant power. He gets a Nobel Peace prize, is an honored member of national commissions, and is a favored media guru and guest at public gatherings.”

Kissinger sabotaged the 1968 Vietnam peace talks, thus allowing the Vietnam War to drag on for another four years, ultimately at a cost of three or four million dead Vietnamese and 58,000 Americans. Kissinger personally persuaded Nixon to extend the war to Cambodia and Laos which led to another million civilian deaths. According to Nixon’s chief of staff H.R. Haldeman, Kissinger sadistically relished in the details of mass murder campaigns with code names such as “Operation Breakfast,” raids that slaughtered 350,000 civilians.

Kissinger made the murder of Chilean socialist Salvador Allende his pet project. He was chairman of the Forty Committee, a CIA working group whose task was to cause chaos inside the country which would lead to a military coup. “The issues are much too important for the Chilean voters to be left to decide for themselves,” quipped Henry. “l don’t see why we need to stand by and watch a country go communist because of the irresponsibility of its own people.” Nixon and Kissinger made sure the Chilean fascist organization Patria y Libertad received training in guerrilla warfare and bombing.

“When the coup finally came, in September 1973, it was led by the most extreme fascist members of the military, and it was unrelenting in its ferocity. Allende was assassinated,” writes Mark Zepezauer. “Several cabinet ministers were also assassinated, the universities were put under military control, opposition parties were banned and thousands of Chileans were tortured and killed, many fingered as ‘radicals’ by lists provided by the CIA.”

Kissinger went out of his way to protect the brutal Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet. “At a time when Pinochet was the target of international censure for state-sponsored torture, disappearances, and murders, Kissinger assured him that he was a victim of communist propaganda and urged him not to pay too much attention to American critics,” writes Lucy Komisar.




Kissinger and Nixon paved the way for the rise of Pol Pot and the murder of over a million Cambodians.

Kissinger green lighted Suharto’s invasion of East Timor. On October 8, 1975, a member of the National Security Council, Philip Habib, told meeting participants that “It looks like the Indonesians have begun the attack on Timor.” Kissinger’s response to Habib was, “I’m assuming you’re really going to keep your mouth shut on this subject.” Kissinger was not concerned about the loss of life. He was worried that the use of US-made arms in the invasion would be exposed to public scrutiny. 60,000 Timorese were ultimately hunted down and slaughtered by Suharto’s thugs.

“President Ford and Secretary of State Kissinger, who gave the go ahead to Suharto’s invasion of East Timor and subsequent massive war crimes there, and the same Kissinger, who helped President Nixon engineer and then protect the Pinochet coup and regime of torture and murder and directed the first phase of the holocaust in Cambodia (1969-75), remain honored citizens,” laments Herman.

It was the Kissinger engineered “secret bombing” of Cambodia that led to the rise of Pol Pot, who butchered and starved to death over a million of his fellow countrymen.

Despite all of this, Henry Kissinger is looked upon admirably by the establishment and its corporate press as an “elder statesman.” He gets on television and tells us how things should be done.

In the video here, he repeats the corporate media lie about Hamas and the Palestinians. In 1988, according to the Washington Post, Kissinger “recommended at a private gathering recently that Israel prohibit television reporters and cameras from the violence-torn occupied territories and that the Palestinian uprisings be suppressed ‘brutally and rapidly,’ according to a memo paraphrasing his remarks… The memo said Kissinger emphasized repeatedly that under no circumstances should Israel make concessions during the current period of violence.”

Prior to Hamas, Kissinger vilified the PLO. “When Henry Kissinger was secretary of state, he did more than most to demonize the Palestine Liberation Organization and hamper the settlement of the Palestinian issue,” the Post wrote on April 2, 1989. “Apparently, however, he does not feel he did enough. From his private offices in New York, he is now firing barrages of editorial missiles at the organization and the concept of Palestinian rights. It is true, he says, that the PLO has recognized Israel, accepted Security Council Resolution 242 and renounced terrorism, but these commitments are too vague to build on.”

But what really rankles in the video here is Kissinger’s call for Obama to create a New World Order. “It’s a great opportunity,” declares Kissinger.

Indeed, for the Bilderberger and Rockefeller minion Kissinger, the election of Obama and the manufactured crises all around are a “great opportunity” to usher in world government.

In order to better understand what Kissinger has in mind — what the global elite have in mind (since Kissinger does not speak on his own, same as he did not engineer all the coups and staggering mass murders attributed to him on his own) — let us reflect on what he said on May 21, 1992, at a Bilderberg meeting held in Evian, France:

“Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order [referring to the 1991 riots in Los Angeles]. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond [i.e., an "extraterrestrial" invasion], whether real or promulgated [emphasis in original], that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the world government.”

Finally, considering Kissinger’s track record and the long, sordid, and bloody one of the New World Order, we can be assured the world government imagined by Henry and crew will not think twice about murdering a few million people in order to realize their demented dreams. Such acts are business as usual for the ruling elite.

The FBI claims that federal investigators made no attempt to identify plane wreckage pursuant to the investigation of 9/11. Researcher Aidan Monaghan submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the FBI seeking documents “revealing the process by which wreckage recovered by defendant, from aircraft used during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, was positively identified by defendant . . . as belonging to said aircraft”

In response, Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick A. Rose, representing the FBI, states;. “The identities of the airplanes hijacked in the September 11 attacks was never in question, and, therefore, there were no records generated” pursuant to the identification of the aircraft.

In other words, in the case of the greatest crime in US history, involving the greatest loss of civilian life ever, with nearly 3000 dead, the FBI claims that it made no attempt to formally identify the remains of the murder weapons. This would certainly seem to be a monumental oversight and incompetent blunder if it was true, but the publicly available information suggests that counsel’s statements are false on at least two counts.

First, the identities of the aircraft certainly were in question on 9/11. There was widespread confusion at the FAA and NORAD on the morning of 9/11, caused in part, by the numerous exercises, some involving simulated hijackings, which were also taking place that morning. The aircraft that crashed had different transponder codes from the passenger aircraft and transcripts of flight controller communications indicate a significant level of confusion as to the identity of the flights.

The plane which crashed at the Pentagon is particularly suspect since the FAA made no radar contact with the aircraft on its return flight over West Virginia and did not establish radar contact again until the plane reached Washington, DC, now with a different transponder code.

Secondly, there is ample evidence that serial numbered aircraft parts were in fact collected and identified by the FBI with the assistance of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). For example Carol Carmody, Vice-Chairman of NTSB said in published remarks from February 2002; “I … assured FBI Director Mueller that we would assist in any way we could … he called and said, ‘Could you send us some people to help find the black boxes and help identify aircraft parts.’”

The fact that the NTSB did comply with director Mueller’s request was corroborated by her boss NTSB Chairman Marion C. Blakey who testified to the 9/11 Commission that “Over 60 Safety Board employees worked around the clock in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and at our headquarters in Washington, DC, assisting with aircraft parts identification”

These statements by NTSB officials make it abundantly clear that the FBI did collect and identify serial numbered parts and should have the data necessary to positively identify the aircraft that crashed on 9/11.

Why do they refuse to release the data?

Why Are Tens of Thousands of Plastic “Burial Vaults” Stacked in a Field Near Madison, Georgia?

Editor’s note: If you think all of this is simply conspiracy mongering, consider the fact our government indeed repeatedly plans for widespread “bio-terrorist” attacks, most notably Operation Dark Winter, staged nearly three months before the attacks of September 11, 2001, and the subsequent anthrax attacks beginning on September 18, 2001. As well, consider the national-level domestic and international TOPOFF exercises, primarily involving biological and chemical attacks.

I have no idea what to make of this one. All of the sites I was able to find that reference this stockpile assume that it has something to do with an upcoming American holocaust and martial law, etc. Again, I have no idea.

Let’s try to work trough this one a bit…

First of all, what are they?

The product is called a “Burial Vault.” They are made by PolyGuard Vaults. Their website describes the product as follows:

A Burial Vault is an outside receptacle or container, in which the casket and remains are placed, at the time of burial. This helps to maintain the above ground aesthetics of the grave site.

Polyguard Burial Vaults are now manufactured using an injection moulding process, and constructed of non-biodegradable, water and chemical resistant polymers.

So, they’re not coffins, but liners in which coffins would be placed before burial.

I did some more research to determine if the government did business with PolyGuard Vaults. Indeed, the U.S. Veterans Administration has been buying Burial Vaults from PolyGuard Vaults for years. Use fedspending.org to look up the contracts. Click the Contracts tab and type in Polyguard.

You can go back to the year 2000. When you use the Level of Detail: Complete (all information) setting, this will show more detail. In the “Contract Description” fields you’ll see: THERMOPLASTIC GRAVELINERS. So, it seems to make sense that the VA would be buying these things…

Here’s a reference with regard to casket burials in a cemetery in Hawaii. This is from the Aloha Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America:

Casket burials now require Polyguard Burial Vault at a cost of $220 for family members and no charge for the Retiree, Veteran or Active Duty personnel. The vaults were required to prevent the burial site from settling and collapsing following the burial.

Anyone looking into this situation in Georgia might find the VA contracts and just think, “Yep, the VA bought them, nothing to see here.” An interesting question would be: How many units did the VA get? I haven’t been able to determine that. If we knew that, we’d be able figure out roughly how many casket burials were happening at VA run cemeteries vs. how many Burial Vaults were ordered. If there was a large difference, well, we would have a pretty good idea of where the extra units went…

Where are they?

They are in a field near Madison, Georgia, just off of Lion’s Club Road and next to (as far as I can tell) a Fowler Flemister Concrete plant. See coordinates: +33° 33′ 57.36″, -83° 29′ 6.26″.

How many?

I tried to figure out a way to count them, but I couldn’t do it. I felt like my estimates could easily be off by an order of magnitude. To say that it’s tens of thousands is probably conservative.

Who owns the land?

I haven’t been able to figure that out. The legend that I keep running across is that a private individual leased the land to FEMA. I suppose that’s possible, or it could be absolute nonsense. I don’t know. With all of the U.S. Government’s vast land holdings and facilities, FEMA leased this field from someone to store these Burial Vaults??? Again, I suppose that anything is possible.

If these Burial Vaults do belong to FEMA, that would be very interesting. I went through all of the government contracts with PolyGuard going back to 2000 and FEMA hasn’t done any (on the books) business with them. Since 2000, the government contracts that went to PolyGuard were all awarded by the VA.

Why?

That’s the question. I have no idea and I haven’t found any good guesses either. The consensus on the foil sites is that these Burial Vaults are to be used in the aftermath of some kind of false flag attack or holocaust/final solution situation. Initially, I thought the same thing, but when I thought about it more carefully, wouldn’t FEMA just stockpile body bags?

The anonymous comments on some sites say that it’s probably related to contingency planning for a natural disaster. Again, wouldn’t FEMA just stockpile body bags?

One thing that I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere is how much money is represented by this Burial Vault stockpile. The newsletter above puts the cost at $220. I have not been able to determine what the government pays, per unit, but let’s not even assume that $220 is the cost. Let’s say it’s just $100 each. At that rate, ten thousand units would be worth $1 million. So, there’s easily several million dollars worth of inventory sitting in that field.

To the imbeciles who suggest that this is some sort of routine private inventory for a mortuary business (yes, I have seen people suggesting that): There is A) no way that a mortuary company would spend millions of dollars for so many of these at once and B) no way that a mortuary company would leave them sitting unguarded in a field for years.

I’d love for someone to provide a This-Is-Normal-There’s-Nothing-To-See-Here explanation, but so far, I haven’t been able to find such an explanation.

One last thing: This isn’t a new story

Infowars just posted this story and that’s where I saw it, but the earliest reference that I can find to this was from 2006. ATS has a thread from December 2007 that covers this situation.

One angle that has not been discussed is simply asking the congressional representatives responsible for that district in Georgia. They might be surprised to hear about such a large (and apparently unreported) government expenditure of taxpayer/voter money in their own backyard. At the very least, their response could shed some light on who bought these things, and whether it was the VA or not. Even the typical “this is a matter of national security” or “no comment” stonewalling would tell us if we should be concerned about this. Finally, has anyone bothered to ask Polyguard what tens of thousands of their liners are doing in a Georgia meadow? Alex, why not give these guys a call next time you go on air?

Hmm. Not sure, but I’ve seen a few sites mentioning this situation, on the same sites also mentioning the red and blue FEMA deathcamp lists. Maybe it has something to do with expected U.S. soldier fatalities once Iran is invaded, but anything is possible, especially from the corruption we’ve seen now completely uncovered concerning 911.

So I’m thinking these are being stockpiled not so much to preserve cemetery aesthetics and more as man sized tupperwear to put a whole lot of infectious diseased corpses in. I feel like the company that produces these makes it clear that these things will keep any biological badness sealed up for 100 years. I hope this is just my imagination getting away with me… but if there was a biological attack or an outbreak of some sort would the corpses not be sent to the center of infectious disease in Georgia? I don’t know about you but I would put the infectious bodies in the big tupperwear under six feet of concrete. Especially if having been the one to release the virus I knew how nasty it was, and when it was coming.

How Long Have They Been There?

This seems important.

If they have been there for years, I would tend not to worry so much. Maybe they were planning something that didn’t pan out. More govt. boondoggle. ordered a mil coffin covers for VA’s, (there’s at least a million VA’s out there) turned out we didn’t need them. Let’s look for a vacant field out in the middle of nowhere to stash em. Hope the taxpayers don’t notice. If they JUST GOT THERE> big problem.

Maybe Atlanta is the real target for the next attack . With all the agencies running drills on the days of attacks it would make sense that Atlanta could be next . The stockpile is there and I think they would stage them where they knew a problem would be . As the article notes, these are not coffins – rather vaults into which coffins are placed.

One might wonder why individual vaults would be used at all — why not just bulldoze bodies into mass graves? Well, even after the next staged terror event it will be important to maintain a semblence of the myth that the attacks were perpetrated by terrorists and that the government is imposing martial law to “protect” the citizens. So properly burying the dead helps maintain this illusion.

Here’s another story. A friend of mine just returned from a fishing trip in Montana. As he drove into the wilderness paralleling a river and nearby train tracks, he came upon twenty miles (twenty miles!!!) of parked boxcars upon the train tracks. He said that they were strategically parked so that they would not interfere with road crossings, driveways, and traveled paths. He wound up asking the locals what was going on. They replied that these boxcars could be found all over Montana and they were stumped as to why they were there.

One theory that he heard was that with the collapsing dollar, a lot less imports were being purchased from India and China, therefore a lot less items needed to be transported. With Montana being so empty, the theory is that these can be hidden away with few people realizing it. But why hide them in such a remote location at all? That had to take a lot of effort and expense rather than placing them in cities. Are these boxcars empty? Maybe we can do some investigation. Has anybody out there heard about this? What theories exist?

Believe it or not folks, this was a Carlisle Group investment account for Enron execs that moved to Georgia, to beat private/corporate accountability laws, when Enron ripped off all those retirement accounts.

Enron had started out as a pipe company way way back and practically no one remembers those days with Herbert’s endorsements of Enron through all of the Fortune Investment Corporations.

The vinyl liners are actually an offshoot of the PVC piping & piping industry and is connected to the former Enron Pipe Co., as a backdoor and unaccounted for defense contract money maker for the entitled and off the books.

This information all comes from gossip way back from noise going around sometime around 2003 and I never forgot the story, but I do not know if it’s true. But, armed with that much info, someone should be able to track it down.

I don’t know the answer to that question, but couldn’t this be a sign of burial preparation for the troops overseas? The number of caskets somewhat resembles the number of troops we have over there. My dad mentioned that he heard about the same thing in 1988 when he was sent to a Fire department training class located in Georgia. Being a Detroit Fire Fighter he was curious being so far from home, so he went to see them and they were in fact at the location the local Atlanta Fire fighters said they were. He said that all he could gather was that it was a government owned location and was for a Nuclear-bio accident-attack.

This issue had me real worked up when the first story was posted here on Friday, but after talking with my dad, I’m a little less worried. Still……..I don’t like the idea of that many coffins in one place.

It’s called turning a loss into a positive.

Our elite invest in these shady markets, knowing full well we are going to war to bring all the bacon to them. When our service people are killed in these wars, it puts the elite on a subconscious guilt trip and so they invest and provide cheap burial vaults, as a way of contributing their efforts to deal with all those dead soldiers, good elite investors that they are that bear the burdon of the elite. That is, “all have been accounted for and all got a decent burial,” according to the “good elitist” buzz and propaganda.

The added bonus is, the investors pay about $100.00 for one vault as an investment, but get paid over $200.00 for each one that gets used. Hey, it’s not a windfall profit, only a 2:1 investment profit ratio, so long as enough soldiers die to make the investment worth while. At least they bought in bulk to keep the cost down, the way one buys toilet paper in bulk ahead of a pulp industry dive when one has connections at Wall Street.

I believe this is what Jr. meant when he said, everyone deserves a decent burial, full knowing that the mission was accomplished and that there would be plenty of burial vaults and TP for the elite to go around. Ever wonder how he knew???, now you know.

I believe this should be looked at very carefully. I read one at least semi-reasonable explaination that they could be moving a cemetary and need to have these for the relocation. Even then I am stretching pretty far to try and give it a good name. That kind of project would have massive press coverage which is nowhere to be found. In my heart of hearts I know they plan on having a situation where these will be needed. Whether intentional or not this is some scary stuff.

Dear Readers,

I do not want to discourage anyone from searching for answers to the burial vaults. Keep it up. However, this explaination must be looked at. My father was in the funeral business selling pre-need funeral packages. As a rule dad sold the funeral plot and the burial vault. The vault was either concrete or fibarglass. The money paid by the customer was destined to go into a trust so the vault could be purchased at the time of burial. Well guess what? Dishonest people in the business spent the money leaving the customer holding the bag. So, states passed laws requiring the vaults to made and inventoried at the time of purchase. I can remember as a teenager working at one of the cemetaries dad managed. Out back in an undeveloped part of the cemetary were hundreds of concrete burial vaults. Dad told me there was an audit done by the state of Colorado at least once a year. So it is possible the manufacturer of the plastic vaults is also acting as the the warehouse and delivering to cemetaries on a regular basis. Tens of thousands on inventory would not be unrealistic. Just look at that satellite picture again and all the video shots of the site. With spiritual discernment, ask yourself: Does that really look like a thoughtful VA project or does it look like something that would be used for grim purposes (we’d rather not think about) through FEMA? Polyguard makes white vaults too; not that it matters so much after they’re buried OR burned. This doesn’t have the look of honoring our military or even of a civilian vault reserve. Even if it were a manufacturer’s idle stockyard, it should have more color variance of other miscellaneous items strewn about (a few white one thrown in and such). This just appears as a ghastly foreseen vision of mass death from the dark side.

Then Crytogon decides to repost the story with a few clarifications and I noticed a whole crowd of newbies kicked off the comments on this thread and it was interesting to see the lines of thinking played through again. Link back to the first thread: http://www.infowars.com/?p=3462 where Mark Spann (p. 22) who says he’s been to the site, got all the details, and broke the ‘FEMA Coffins’ story on many sites long ago. This was countered by “Horses Mouth” (p. 27) who emphatically states he’s with Polyguard company in Wyoming and they didn’t sell their vaults to the folks who handled this project. Apparently, that would be the VA or the Dept. of Veteran Affairs. This guy claimed to have some inside knowlege about the purpose of the vaults. He stated that they were definitely for burying American soldiers but, his competitors sold the gov’t. a different brand and type from a local vault maker in Georgia-NOT Polyguard’s. He also assured us that it was on their own storage lot-NOT rented by a gov’t. agency. Has this gentleman with Polyguard spoken up before in the last seven years? Why doesn’t he tell it straight to infowars and other sites editors to clear the air? Why all the inconsistencies between these two guys? Which one’s the dis-info agent and which is the charlatan? Why the hell are these things all the same charcoal black color if various military personel and civilian families are buying them for there loved ones on reserve as well. No variation in color? No other company junk laying around the yard like manufacturers tend to do in their storage places. I noticed Mr. Spann didn’t come back for a rebuttal as harbinger of this story, either. I’ve heard numbers in the region of 500k of these things so wanted to test it myself. Using the google earth map and the video I concluded that each of the squares of stacked vaults measured approx. 30m x 24m. The vaults measure 89cm x 227cm so I estimate that there are about 300 stacks in each block. From the video I estimate that there are approx. 15 per stack so that gives and estimate of 4500 per block. Using rough calculations the area covered is equivalent to approx. 20 squares so gives a total of about 90k. Now assuming that a proportion of the stacks are for the lids (as seen in the video) I would conclude that there are in fact about 60 to 70k of these things in this field.

At these numbers it doesn’t seem anywhere near as ‘dark’ as it does when you mention ‘half a million’ as seen on youtube and other sites.

However, its still a lot of vaults to be sitting around in the middle of georgia just waiting for something to happen?

The following is my own little estimate of the number of coffins/vaults stored in Madison GA and how I arrived at it. It’s all estimates of course…

The individual areas of coffin/vault stacks appear to be about 27 meters by 30 meters. If each coffin/vault is two meters long by one meter wide then each layer of the pile contains around 400 units.

There are fifteen complete, or nearly complete rectangular stacks. The means then that each layer contains about 6000 units. There is also one stack which we’ll say contains one half of the other complete ones ( 200 in each layer ) and another which appears to be about two thirds of a complete pile ( about 267 per layer ). This gives a total of 6467 units per layer in the entire area.

Now, let’s say that each individual stack of coffins/vaults is two meters high and each unit there are fifteen units in each stack.

This then gives a final estimate of around 97,000 individual coffins/vaults.

As you all know, death is one of those issues that we all fear yet we all will go through it at some time in our life and we have most all experienced a loved one passing away. In fact there is as average of 2.5 million deaths occurring each year. Some are cremated and some are buried. Most burials require an outside burial container to go around the casket to keep the ground from settling and the aesthetics of the cemetery beautiful with the least amount of maintenance needed. Until about 30 years or so ago, the only outside burial containers available were Concrete or wooden boxes. Because of modern technology, there are now other alternatives to concrete such as fiberglass and polymers (plastic).

I am not sure how Polyguard became associated with the burial vaults that are stored in Georgia. Those vaults are manufactured by our competitors in Georgia. However, the Manufacturers own the property they are stored on and there is no big secret surrounding the vaults. Because of manufacturing costs and the ability to manufacture 2 parts probably every 2 – 5 minutes, once the process begins, to be cost effective you manufacture until your raw products are gone. This creates inventory that can be rotated and used as needed.

In the funeral service industry, there is a program called “pre-need” which allows families to go to a funeral home or cemetery and pre-pay for their funeral merchandise and services. I would guess that most of these vaults have been pre-sold and they are meeting the requirement of the storage program set forth by the manufacturing company and the Federal Trade Commission who governs funeral service. Because we do not own the vaults and are not the manufacturers of the vaults, I cannot tell you those numbers for sure.

Many of you keep referencing a patent for a cremation container. This product never even made it to the market as far as I know. If it did, it is not the same product that is being stored at the manufacturers storage facility in Georgia. DO NOT CONFUSE THE TWO ITEMS!!!!

Things to think about:

1) the liners are just over 50 miles from Atlanta

2) the location is just off a major highway that goes out of Atlanta

3) cdc is in Atlanta

4) there’s a cement co right next door

my thinking is that this is the contingency planning for an outbreak or attack affecting Atlanta

I bet they said well we have to place it at least 50 miles out

It’s pretty shocking to see a field of casket containers using up an area that by comparison is almost as large as the Super Wal-Mart parking lot next to it. The fact FEMA is involved makes it’s highly dubious. I pass by both these sites frequently. The one in Covington, Ga may definitely be another but I never looked twice at it, although I always for a few years wondered what the heck those tubs were. I’ll have to take a closer look next time.

Also, I’ve noticed a large amount of military vehicles and equipment moving down I-20 from Atlanta. Military tankers, hummers, and MRAP’S (on flatbeds). Could be routine exercises or equipment relocation but about every other time I go to Atlanta from Madison I see an MRAP going southeast the other way.

I was thinking why not just use body bags too, but then thought what if there was a disaster somewhere like Los Angeles? You couldn’t ship bodies in a bunch of bags, they would have to loaded onto a train, and it would be easier if you could just stack the bodies, neat and even. I have also seen those videos with the giant incinerators for train cars, this also would fit my concluding.

Honestly they probably expect a huge disaster sooner or later, and seeing as how they are more, and more frequent they will need to be ready.

ok. First of all this article was debated on ABOVETOPSECRET.COM several years ago. It was also concluded. Secondly the government did in fact order them as they are now REQUIRED for the burial of Army Veterans.

They are indeed Burial Vaults. They are used all over the country for several purposes. 1 to prevent the cave-in of caskets. 2 in cases where the water table is high…e.g. Hawaii. disease can easily spread into the drinking water from rotting corpses. oh yeah and now Hawaii requires caskets to be put in these things too…wow the big bad government. As if that isn’t enough, they did the math on the number of caskets and it is around the ballpark of 132,000 or something like that. They even have different pictures of the field of boxes getting smaller and bigger which means….they are selling their product all over in smaller orders not storing them up for a major disaster as this article would leave you to believe.

It is strange, particularly if FEMA owns the land where these things are stored. The close proximity of Atlanta is another red flag. Just another “high on speculation, low on facts” article. And there is no proof that the government has been buying Polyguard products at fedspending.org, only a loan that was made to the company.

This concept of the US gubmint buying hundreds of thousands of these vaults has already been smacked down. in another thread and on other boards. But don’t let facts and reality get in the way of your fantasies.

Regardless of who makes ‘em , where they’re stored, or why so mass produced, I think it’s really starting to sink in that these are mostly stationary lots of BCUs purchased by one major entity and I doubt it was a funeral home. The gov’t. can call it any way they want for any purpose they see fit…FEMA disaster contingencies, VA Troop burials, foreign war casualties abroad, etc. And they will most likely encourage the manufacturers to keep quiet about the details of their purposes and use a cover story when pressured.

What About TAXES!, In my state on the first day of Jan they could have to pay corporate taxes (IE: Tangable Taxes) on all these things.. Well, unless the Gov’t already owned them..

FEMA would stock pile body bags IF the Polyguard Vault Co. sales staff didn’t land a multi million dollar contract through the federal gov. or someone else. At any rate I would like to know if this is my tax dollars or not. If it is a ligit private co. they probably wouldn’t mind the exposure to unload some inventory to mortuaries with quick on demand stock.

If you think about it in holocaust terms: the material is chemical resisitant therefore it could be to hold chemicals in not keep them out. A bomb or otherwise? i dont think there would be nuclear weapons use “on purpose” but there are many different things that could be.

Plastic liners are also recommended to be used to store mass casualties during natural disasters and /or deaths due to military action. This information is avaliable in cdc.gov.

Its for upcoming war with Iran or a possible false/flag op on American Soil. In either case, there are 519 000 people living in Atlanta and I’ve heard that there are 500 000 liners there. Nuke or bio/chem attack would be plausible because these materials are designed to keep all contents inside, or outside. My guess is, these vaults are about 7 feet long so they can hold a few people, and it will be some sort of holocaustic setting, nuclear attack, or, massive war. Either war, it is a direct war against the people, and is taking away our last and most inalienable right. The right to life. This government and all world governments need a global reminder of who put them into power, because enough is enough.

Obviously this all has to do with the American Holocaust that is coming. At least we can now know what we will be buried in when we are killed. Yeah, some comfort that is. I would think that people would be looking in other areas around the country to see if this is just one large stockpile or one of many. Just a suggestion.

This report is only interesting , until you add the story in the Atlanta paper . CDC has several power failures

While some suggest the big stockpile of the plastic burial vaults indicates a conspiracy, please consider that concrete vaults take much more space, cost a LOT more, and are very expensive to ship. In addition, pay a visit to a busy Veterans’ cemetery. You will see fields of vaults, some stacked and placed ready for covering by dirt, then by sod or grass seed, and, finally, the headstones. I have seen only concrete vaults in those ranks of coffin vaults, but the plastic ones can’t be far behind.

Our vet’s cemeteries are very busy–no surprise, since burial in one is free for MANY, but not so in a private cemetery or in one supported by a local cemetery district. Stockpiles of plastic vaults may be just that, stockpiles, waiting for shipment to the vet’s cemeteries around our country. Could they indicate something dark? Sure, but please consider the simple explanation. It usually is the correct one.

As to guvmint conspiracies: It takes intelligence and discretion to work a conspiracy. Where is there a government with those attributes?

Everything is fine. Nothing to see here. The economy is thriving. Stocks will be recovering. Banks are healthy and have plenty of reserves. Oil prices are where they should be. Our leaders are good, ethical men. Pay no attention to the war “Mission Accomplished” says our leader. Unemployment is getting better. Food prices are down. Foreclosures were necessary but will now level out. Housing prices will come back up. Oh brother, we’re screwed.

Pay no attention, and don’t ask questions about a bunch of silly coffin vaults.

In fact I think Hannah Montana is coming on. Better go watch that, it’s far more informative, and entertaining than asking why a company won’t disclose who bought these, or why there would be a need for such a large amount.

We’re all fine, now go back to sleep.

It could be that this is the VA’s entire stockpile. I mean, the WWII vets and the Vietnam War Vets are all getting much older; and, they are both large generations.

If these are stockpiled to plan for a holocaust or natural disaster, I would think there wouldn’t be enough money to provide for the caskets. I could see them using body bags and then throwing the body bags into the vaults. Can’t just bury a body in a bag. But on the other hand, they could burn a whole bunch and save space, if they’re the cold hearted types to kill a whole bunch of people.

I looked this up on google earth and measured the size of the squares… they are 96′ by 80′ and if you take the standard coffin size to be 6′ bt 2.5′ that means that the squares contain 15 by 32 stacks. If you count the number of coffins in each stack in the video there are 18 per stack +-1 which would make the total number of coffins in one square 8640. Now approximating the number of squares on the field to 18.5 or 159,840 but this includes lids… if 6.5% of the space was taken up by lids that would mean that this field contains exactly 150,000 coffins… at least thats my questimate.

Well, we all (by all I mean Americans) love a good thrill, and how do we achieve this, scare the shit out of ourselves. My younger brother first heard of this and almost died by not sleep or eating normally, not really funny, but damn. If there is some underlying substance to any of this, it’s been created by word of mouth, and a boiling brew of imagination and a constant desire to believe in something. I have emailed the Polyguard Company inquiring about these “FEMA coffins for the American People” and against what my creative imagination came up with….they are…you guessed it, burial vaults. Burial vaults have been used for years, probably millions upon millions of them, used by who? you guessed it, dead people. If anyone had the depth perception to look into it all and actually see beyond the youtube.com videos and other shenanigans, they would realize that these “coffins” are roughly the same size as more commonly used concrete or I guess “earthen” based burial vaults. The idea behind a composite based container used to hold something forever, is that it will IN FACT hold something forever, its not like you lease a burial plot for X-amount of time and then they dig you up and….I dont Know, lets get creative and say….Write and article saying you were an american holocaust victim. What kind of world do we live in? Surely if this was something worth shaking a stick at, someone credible would be worried about it. 800,000 dollars of these I think were purchased in 2008. Every year they have purchased more than would make any sense. Maybe their holding them for FEMA so no one will think anything?

It does seem very odd. I guess we wait and see if a major disaster happens in that state, but they could ship those by train anywhere in the country at any time needed. Disaster could happen anywhere so it doesn’t matter where they are being stored. Time will tell and give us the answer we are all looking for!

They could have picked a hanger or some other place to hide the shipments if they were hiding something. Maybe we are putting to much thought into something that really is just a genuine transaction? We all know the fed is running things, but that doesn’t mean this is another part of the plan. Untill we have more proof and factual evidence, this is just another conspiracy theory.

There are videos all over saying these are for FEMA camps…as far as I can see there is no truth to it at all. People are pushing that made up theory and that’s creating all this hype. Alex, when you have more proof let us know, but until then you shouldn’t create something that just isn’t there. It just creates hype and fear!

I’m not one of these people to immediately dismiss things; for the record. Quite contrare, I am still concerned about this, but something did just occur to me looking through this information. Wartime contracts tend to be a huge waste of government spending. Obviously more liners are being ordered than needed, and if it is unintentional, this is nothing new. The government has huge stores of crap they contracted to buy for the military and never used. Look into a bug-net contract from Vietnam. This may be a case of over-spending over-sight to line someone’s pockets. It also could very well be the worst-case-scenario. Just wanted to share a possibility I thought of. I shudder to think of them all…
